Re: 1995 CAMARO Z28 STOCK. Information for great mods upgrades.

Welcome to CamaroZ28.com!!!

There are many knowledgeable LT1 owners who can help. Best thing to do is:

1 - Add a "Signature' with basic info on your car:

https://www.camaroz28.com/forums/lt1...nature-879835/

2 - Post specific questions on the tech forums. Most things are covered on "LT1 Based Engine Tech."

3 - Let us know what you interests are - cruising, drag racing, auto-X and road racing. That helps us provide you with the appropriate information.

4 - Make good use of the "search" function. There are very few questions that haven't already been asked and answered.

For 400rwHP, you will need:

-Cold air intake
-long tube headers
-3" catback exhaust/cutout or true duals.
-high quality porting on stock LT1 heads and intake
-matching cam, selected by the head porter
-1.6X full roller rockers
-52mm or 58mm throttle body
-36#/Hr injectors

Drivetrain will need upgrade - we need to know what type transmission you have.

Suspension will need to be upgraded to put the power to the ground. How you plan to use the car will determine exactly what you need.

Ok I am looking in to getting these headers ( http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ps...t/model/camaro ) For the price i dont think i can go wrong here but what do i need to mod for the air injection or should i look for other headers.

every time i get the guts to buy something i think about what i will need lol. I invested in to tuner cat. not sure if i wanna use it but i have it just incase....

Let's rely on the thread you posted in LT1 Based Engine Tech from this point on. Not many people will come to "New Member Intro".

Re: 1995 CAMARO Z28 STOCK. Information for great mods upgrades.

Welcome to camaroZ28.com! Check out the other specific threads when asking questions.

Glad your car is mostly stock. Mine still has the stock intake and exhaust! Probably will upgrade them next spring though. As much as I'd like to keep my car as close to stock as possible I have a hard time resisting the urge to mod.

More 4th gens are good. Glad you joined.
