I do not bash on people who have v-6 camaro's but GM made no room to squeeze any real power out of the 6 cylinders. only GM's straight 6 had power potential, plus if you want to feel any power you need to get rid of the "1" legger. Buy a rear end with the 600.00 it's gonna cost you for the nitrous and you'll be happier. In my area we have some real sweet looking camaro's that they spent a fortune to look nice, but couldn't get out of it's own way

OK, thats better. All you had to do was give me a reason and I wouldn't have said anything. Now about the dif. thing, what kind do you suggest I get? I was planning on getting 3.42 gears either way but whats your opinion?

IMO 3.42 is good, but 3.73 is a little step up. the 3.42 is stock on our M6's and still leaves room for desire. Remember, this is a project a little deeper then nitrous though... Find a trashed z if you can in the junkyard and buy the rear, it should run you around 150-200.00.
buy the gears, another 150.00.
Now depending on your knowledge you could either go that route and transfer your stuff over, or buy the gears and also a posi which will be around 500.00 (don't quote me) and get it installed for another 200.00.
then you will have a better response that won't cost you 50.00 every couple days and possible burnt motor.. Remember, this is only my opinion but it's one of the top 5 upgrades you can do to see a difference
