Question Tewksbury , Ma. ???

>For you guys that live out in the area :
What is the fastest / easiest way to get from Tewksbury , Ma. to Hanscom , A.F.B. , Ma. ?
I may end up moving out near there since the wife may have to switch offices (Verizon) .

hey andre, go check out my other post (in this section) on cell phone stuff if ya get a sec, verizon came up and itd be cool if you could chime in. as for the issue at hand, i KNOW there is an all backroads way to do it (had a GF in billerica, which is right next door to tewksbury and she took me backroads and we were VERY close to hanscom). however, if i had to do it based on what i know id either take 495S to 2E OR 95S (i think) to rt. 2A (i think there is a sign off of 95 to hanscom) or even rt 2W, either way can get you there. depending on how close you are to 495/95 would dictate your highway route, but i KNOW there is a backroads way there also that gets you to 2A. but mapquest or yahoo maps would work also.......
hope this helps....

>Thanks Brian , but Verizon wireless is a different company (same corporation) as Verizon so we don't know what to tell you . we both have a corporate cell phone through Verizon , but that plan is only available for employees (I think) .

I figure that some of the guys that go to Hanscom A.F.B. would know some faster routes .

Tewksbury to hanscom is probably 10 miles depending on where you wind up in Tewksbury. The trick is to find the back roads there are many different ways.normally it would be rte 38 to rte 128 (95) just depends on the traffic and the time. But not a bad commute

I grew up in Tewksbury and now live in Andover. I commute everyday from Andover to Bedford. I work right at the 62 exit off RT3 and take backroads. Its about 13 miles from Main Street Andover to the 62 exit at RT3.

There are alot of different ways to go, depends on where in Tewksbury you are going to be.

I take a different way to work almost everyday depending on traffic and buses. There are tons of ways to get there. 93 to 128 is a mess. That will add 15-20 min to your commute time.

Pick a point in Tewkbury and Ill look at the map and you give you road names to take to get into Bedford. There are really at least 30 different ways.
