Performance shops in the CT area?

Any one know of a shop that works on LT-1 powered cars? IIRC, Eastside ONLY works on LS-1 cars, and I'm looking for a shop to install headers and a full exhaust system on the car. Nothin' too crazy, but I wouldn't trust your average shop to do this kind of work. Unfortunately, I do not have a garage right now, and my tools are in storage, so I don't mind paying for the services. Thanks in advance for any help.

How about the Newington Corvette Center? I haven't used them, but have heard good things. They might be worth a call.

I never thought about them...I thought they were more of a corvette dealership, but I would guess they would work on z's too. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll give 'em a call

How far is Portsmouth Rhode Island from you?

I highly recommend SRA Transmission / Maximum Performance. I just had them finish up my 73 Z/28 for me and over the last few years they did alot of work on my 94 Z/28. I live in NH and I bring my cars down there as Buddy is the only one I trust.

Their website is www.maximumperformance.biz

They also do tuning and have a Mustang dyno which is great for tuning and drivability issues and you can also do some simulated 1/4 mile passes on it. There's a link to a simulated 1/4 mile pass on the main page, the guy launched @ 5500 off the transbrake on the dyno

Tell them Uncle Marc sent ya

What's the story on your Z? State busting you for emissions? I think I've passed you a few times on the turnpike!
