Pulled the valve covers off last weekend after the timing chain snapped. Removed the broken timing chain as well. All the valves were up and there was no ill noises when we spun the cam by hand. Installing a double roller this weekend and then compression testing all the cyclinders to see if there are bent valves to be replaced, we think I may be the luckiest man alive but I doubt it. Probably end up having to tear it down completely. Also picked up some new gauges, new pro 5.0 shifter, line lock, K&N FIPK system, wires and plugs.

Sorry dude, don't cry, I was only kidding
That TA was just not for me!! I didn't like the interior at all and it didn't have the low-end grunt of my L98! Funny how I'm putting down just as much torque to the wheels as a stock LS1 and I’m doing it earlier in the RPM range. To bad my cars runs out of breath at 5 grand LOL. Plus, it had 11,000 miles on it and the back tires were bald I’m talking slicks!! Someone beat the crap out if it….all set with that. They did have a real nice 96 Vette for sale, silver convertible for 23K. Tempting…
