NH event 8/17 and 8/18
The Firebirds are ready to Climb the Road to the Sky - Mount Washington Road in New Hampshire! Join us as we drive to the peak of the Highest Mountain in the Northeast. 6,288 ft. See www.mtwashingtonautoroad.com for pictures and more details!
We will meet for dinner at the Muddy Moose Restaurant on Saturday the 17th in North Conway, New Hampshire on Route 16 at 5:00 pm.
For lodging we will be staying at the Fox Ridge Resort (Red Jacket Inn) on Route 16 in North Conway, NH. The rates ae $169.00 a night for Garden rooms and $179.00 a night for Mountain views. They have an indoor and outdoor pool, game room and mini golf. You can find them on-line at www.foxridgeresort.com. Their phone number is 800-343-1804.
Sunday morning at 9:00 am we will be leaving Fox Ridge Resort for the Auto Road up Mount Washington. If you are not staying that Saturday night and just going up for the day - be at the hotel parking lot BEFORE 9:00 am. It is an 8 mile journey up the mountain - approximately a 30 minute car ride up.
