Buddy rebuilt the tranny in my Z/28 and I'd highly recommend him. He's good to deal with and does excellent work

I second SRA Transmission, Why would anyone go anywhere else.
All the local shops recommend SRA transmissions, Its where NEdyno and Tbryne get all their tranny work done.

how about installing it yourself. I know you got a budy or 2 that has done it before. Wait until it real cold out and lay on your back to do it. that the way I had to do it and I loved every minute of it

I have a McLeod coming sometime within the week and when I get it me and my friend Chris are gonna put it in ourselves. I've never done a clutch before but you have to find out somehow. Chris has done his a few times on his 83' Z so I think we can do it on my car no problem.
