A persistent winter-like trend is forcing track officials to once again delay opening day. April 16, is the new target date. Because none of the track's eliminators have had a chance to test their vehicles, the points day set for Top Bike and Junior Dragster on April 19, are cancelled. Instead, April 19, will be a test and tune session plus the regularly scheduled Central Mass Drag Racers event.

Additional schedule updates will appear on the track's website.

There should be quite a few f-bodies showing up Friday. I'll probably be going, unless it rains. I wonder how a shotty running LT1/M6 runs. Hmm...fast than 350TPIs, that's all I know.

These delays suck. The first weekend is going to be packed!!!Looks like my shakedown runs will have to be at LVD on the 25th track rental.

I think they should have delayed another week, the first sixty feet is still covered in ice I think (hey, I need an exuse for the lousy 60 foot times I ran tonight) What a turn out though, the place was PACKED!!!

What color is your Z? I was there in spectator mode and saw a few Z's there.

On a side note......I took Mike's (TTA89) Lightning for a spin and that was impressive It pulled pretty damn good, had a nice ride, great suspension for a truck and the braking was smooth and no nose dive. I am a loyal chevy guy but riding in something like this makes you think twice

Who Ran Last night?

Anyone run at NED last night? I am planning to go down Friday, I just want to know if it's worth going or not. How is the traction? what did you put down for 60' times?

It is red, I only ran once, against a monster VW that ran a 19.128 Traction sucked! I couldn't believe how slippery the track was.

Yup, 14.105@99.31, 2.287 60ft. Was really hoping to hit 13's. Now I just got to clean the dust off these headers and put em on and go back and try again.

Get yourself some drag radials and get the 60 ft time a little more respectable

13's and 100 mph are cool barriers to break

It only gets better from there!!

I trapped 99.91 Friday night at NED, it was sooo frustrating, 13s were definitely out of the question with the traction that was available there
