Whats up, just sayin hola!
Sorry about the Z JCB, I have lost a few cars to drunk drivers and people who jet across your lane from the opposite direction to take a turn, just as you get 25 feet from them going 35...nice.
Glad to see no major injuries, did you find a new Z yet, it took me two days after I got hit to find a new car, had to do something with my anger!!!!
Re: My Car
Sorry to hear about your loss, keep us posted on what happens with insurance and what not. Like that guy in the other post said, its worth the $25 to appeal the surcharge increase if you get it. If you can prove you were less than 50% at fault you will get off 100%, at least this is how it was a few years back when I got in an accident that a 3rd party was involved in but suffered no damages. With the weather and the other car stopping short you may be able to prove that you were at fault, but less than 50%.............

ill have to ask my parents if im getting surcharged when i get home from work. so how does it work? if you're 50/50 or less then you get no surcharge? is this how all policies work or should i go over mine and see what it says?
Re: My Car
The insurance company isn't going to keep your car. They are going to sell it. It does not matter if they sell it to you or to a salvage yard. I have never heard of an insurance company not wanting to cut a deal with the owner to save themselves the hassle of an auction. Something does not sound right to me.

anybody got a car good in the winter that gets good mileage? lookin for somethin under $2800ish. for now im just gonna find a car that gets good mileage thats cheap and will be cheap to insure to get me back and forth to work, then when i go back 2 school in the spring itll get hardly any use until summer...so its not worth it/practical for me to get another Z or something of the sort at this point in time.
