Like I said !

I thought "U" were the problem !

Marc says it was Quest !

Now U say it "WAS" U !!!!

As far as "getting out of my hole", I have been racing, pulling wheelies, and breaking transmissions in my stock slow Z !

Not like some people who talk about racing, but never seem to go !

As soon as I get a junkyard tranny in my car I will be ready to drive it all the way to ATCO http://www.atcorace.com/schedule.shtml race it and hopefully drive it all the way back home !!!!!!

Damn Krush, let me walk you through it, if the car was at New England Dyno its a guarantee he was getting service second to none, I think the above posts attest to that! Next time I post I will try to make sure it does not require thought.
Hope you can nail down your tranny issues and get back on the track! I will be there with vengence next season, all I need to do is put the motor back in my car and learn how to launch better and I will be all set! But like they say the best carpenter is always the last to finish his house - translation for Krush, my car is not yet done as our customers come first

My wife offered the same thing and I told her NO !!

Gotta keep it short as 26K is a painful way to use the internet.

Got me a flight to Hong Kong in a couple of hours and then tomorrow take the long *** boring flight back to Boston. Expect to run into "traffic" on Rt-1 in Saugus on the way home.

Krush Baby,
Will deal with you when I get home

Thanks to all for the kind words,

You guys would not believe the ****ty driving over here in Vietnam Lil ****ers on motor scooters everywhere, they must outnumber cars 1000 to one, everyone beeps their horn and no-one flinches and it's just a swarm merging together, the lines in the road are only for "rough guidelines" as lil scooter go everywhere and anywhere. I came close to offering our driver $20 to run one of em over

Uncle Marc
P.S. Got into some spirited conversation on the merrits of American Football vs that British crap (Soccer) with 4 Britsh people (from Timbys office). I did my best to stick up for America and REAL football. Wore my Superbowl Champion Patriots shirt with pride over here, also sported my genuine New England Dyno and Tuing t-shirt through the streets of Hong Kong

>I was going to say way to go to blend in and not be an obvious target ... but I forgot that your like 2-3 feet taller than everyone there . When you travel do you collect anything (i.e. shotglasses , hats , shrunken heads ) ?
stay safe over there ...

Bowtiepower,
Yup, tower over everyone

I collect Hard Rock Cafe polo shirts (got em from Kowloon, Hong Kong, Guangzo, Bangkok, Frankfurt and Saigon.....actually there is no Hard Rock in Saigon but they sell em anyway....put it this way had to buy a 4XXXL to get it to fit)

You might be interested, seing how you're a USAF person (me too from the early 90's) I saw the US Embassay in Saigon

Dennis,
No dyno pulls. I did drive it and did a little burn before I drove it on the trailer but I gotta fix a safety issue as the bozo that modifed the fuel rail left it so it gushes fuel out the return. We did a bandaid but the fitting needs to be welded to the fuel rail......speaking of Quest Racing I met the charter member of the "Quest Racing Sucks" fanclub........ he had a similar horror story to mine and like me he had to take it to SRA Transmission to get it to run.

Dyno Dean,
I picked up your "Guisha girl" today, and it came with a VCD, not sure if it will play in the USA or not but perhaps we can raffle it off at the spring dyno event ?

Looking forward to seeing something larger than an "A" cup

Golden Banna here I come

Marc

Hey Mark
I saw your car at Buddy's shop when I dropped mine off. Glad to hear it's all squared away. Buddy gave me the whole story of it. Your ride is just sick for a street car! Love it! I'm hoping mine will be done real soon and look forward to having Buddy tune her at New England Dyno. When/where is the LS-1/LT-1 shootout gonna be? I'd like to see that.
