I know where you're coming from. I was doing time in the Gulf while my friends were home partying and sometimes I thought, "what the hell am I doing here?!" I don't regret it for a second though. I feel satisfied that I was there for Uncle Sam and this great country and I paid my dues. I still feel humble towards those before and after me that gave everything though. It's funny how you gain an even greater respect for what we have after you serve. Keep it real.

Welcome to the N.E. section "hammerhead" , and yes I know what you mean I've been in both the Gulf war and now this Enduring Freedom , and it sucks that it's happening , but I believe in what I do for this this country to make it safer for my family .I hear it's going to be a hot one this week-end so shine those F-Bodys (and Impalas ... gbelli) up .
