Got the 12 bolt in today
I did it a my work (Bernardi Toyota). My friends Newman, Brian (the tool man)and I installed the rear axle, lca, phb, driveshaft safety loops and driveshaft. It took at little bit of time because it was our 1st time doing it but it came out okay. Only probly we ran into was the aftermarket torque arm (BMR adjustable). We couldn't get the 2 long bolts out of the tailshaft. The whole suspension is BMR and the driveshaft it a Denny's.
Now i need to fix the miss that i have. Probly the opti or burnt wire. Than i can take it out and have some fun.
Thanks Marc for hooking me up with the axle ,driveshaft, skinnies and slicks. I am going to get the axle up to you soon. I will get some pics up soon as i can.
I cant wait to NED opens.

Re: Got the 12 bolt in today
Mike,
Hey, nice doing business with you and I'm glad to hear that my old 12 bolt will be prowling the track at NED
As far as the two long bolts.....just guessing but when the axle tilts down when it starts to drop (still attached but rotates down) it puts the flange at a slightly different angle than flange on the torque arm that goes over it and then the bolts go through, get a jack and lift the *** end of the 12 bolt up till the holes allign, that and a big hammer / prybar should cure what ails ya.
If the torque arm is adjustable then make sure you set the pinion angle, I used -2* for both the track and the street and with a best 60 ft of 1.41 I must have been doing something right.

Re: Got the 12 bolt in today
I am going to try it again next saturday (TA) and see if i can get it in there. I also plan on installing new gm rear stock springs and drag bags. I was kinda in a rush to get it in there because the shop was closing.
I can't wait till the track opens. Come on april
