The good luck continues...

As some of you may remember, I lost my nitrous/stroked '97 WS6 back in March to a garage fire. After finding another '97 WS6, I've begun gathering parts to build this one up as well. About 1 month later, a Silverado drives into my front bumper in a parking lot. So I get that fixed, and back on track, right? Wrong. Since my garage is being rebuilt, I parked in in the street for the night this past Saturday. Well, a drunk driver rearends my bird at 35-40 mph! I stumble out of bed at 2 AM to hear my alarm going nuts. I almost fell over when I see this '92 Camaro RS with the front end almost completely folded in, and my birds rear bumper destroyed. Needless to say, he's in trouble with the police. A closer look this morning shows a dented in fuel tank, and bent passenger side frame rail (supports the rear bumper). I really can't believe my luck. I'm starting to wonder if black '97 WS6s are bad luck. Yet another phone call to the insurance company. They probably recognize my voice at this point...

Sorry to hear about your car, and your luck for that matter. Will it be repairable?

Not sure yet, haven't heard from the adjuster yet. Hopefully this will just postpone the turbo project for only a few weeks. Probably wishful thinking.
