Rain definately put a damper on the day! We made the decision to do the Car show awards at 12:15. The idea was to give the people that took the effort to clean and show their cars should get some consideration. I would like to add that the guy who won best Firebird with the black lowered custom, bottomed out as he sped out of NED and the ground effects on the nose came off... WHOOPS! The best we could offer the cars there to drag was to raindate. The earliest date they had was in October (I actually don't know the specific date either.) A lot of effort went into the day to really make a difference from previous events. The only thing we couldn't control was the rain. Everyone I spoke too all heard the forecast for rain was for LATE afternoon, not right after NOON. Well, the good news is... NED is going to keep an F-Body day on the future schedule. Sorry to those who couldn't run as much as they wanted to, hopefully we'll get better weather next time. Comments or complaints post 'em here please. I think it was a good day I saw a lot of Firebirds up there, which was great to see.

yay! i looked at the site on the 7th and was like 'Aww ****, i missed it!' but now i guess i can go see it in october!!! yayness! lol
