????ZEX setup questions????

I just purchased the ZEX dry kit from another board member and I'm getting ready to install it. I have two questions.

1. There's a little black button on one end of the control unit. Does anyone have any idea what this is for?

2. I have a Mallory 685 with a built-in window switch. It puts out a Max. 10A ground signal when activated. Can I use this for the control unit's ground, or does the system need to have power all the time so it can sense WOT?

Basically, if you have a Zex system please let me know how you have it hooked up. I e-mailed ZEX, but they're taking they're sweet time getting back to me. I appreciate any input you may have.

Re: ????ZEX setup questions????

Sorry to TTT this, but the system is going on this weekend and I want to get it installed right(safely) the first time. Does anyone out there have experience with this system?

Re: ????ZEX setup questions????

I have the Zex wet kit and am in the same boat as you. I am planning on installing my kit this sunday and have the mallory 685 box as well. I have similar questions. oh about the black button it is for programing your activation switch (WOT switch) on your NMU. If you go to www.zex.com you can get the instructions for your kit using acrobat reader.
