Window switch options for LT1

I know msd makes one but I also like harlans for adjustability and the ramchargers unit looks nice but I dont think it will work on LT1's. Not sure about the harlan unit. Any help would be great

I se a mallory 685 digital hyfire unit, has a built in wndow switch/retard/secondary rev limiter....it's an awesome unit that I have had no trouble with. It is also cheaper than the MSD. I can help you hook it up to your nitrous system too if you have any trouble with it.

Actually after you posted this I check out the hyfire VI and I have a few questions..

they state that it only has the multi-strike up to 3300 RPMs, at that point what is the point in getting it?

it does state "Longer and more sustained burn time than competitive multiple-spark systems" though, so I guess that is a good selling point since the multi-strike only goes to 3300 RPMs

and it does have a lot of good features like, window switch, and retard and a few othe things that you normaly need to buy seperately!!

What are your impressions of this piece?

Re: Window switch options for LT1

Most multi strike type ignitions only mult-strike at 3300 and below... Msd's included.... Below 3300 rpm the multiple sparks create heat to ensure quick throttle response, smooth idle, and quick starts. This just isn't needed at rpm's higher than 3300.

MSD has a new digital window switch that requires no pills, and has a digital display. It looks pretty sweet, and it also works great. Might look into it. It can be seen here.

Ditto on the digital window switch.
I have one in my car and it works great.
Cheaper than the old window switch pill idea and better to use.

NX is offering a new dual window switch, with tps, and can be upgraded to a progressive unit.

Will the new MSD digital plug and play with the MSD 6AL? Also, any retard to match with it?
