Can I simply hook up a window switch like this one

http://www.dynotunenitrous.com/store...?idproduct=138

or do I need a complete MSD system in order to use it??

No, you do not need a MSD system to run a window switch. That looks like it should work. I would suggest running it WITH a WOT switch.

You will not need anything else to wire that up.WE sell these MSD Digitals for 95.00.We also carry the BMN controller.THe BMN unit has a fisrt gear lock out option that is perfect for traction limitied applications. This unit is 129.00.

Re: Window Switch on LT1

I see it says that it has "normally open" and "normally closed" contacts. Are they straight through relay contacts with both lines available, or is one tied to ground internally so that the unit either connects or disconnects ground? If it's simply relay contact I'll have to keep that one in mind next time I need one. It looks pretty slick and I hate the ones that force you to use ground or add an external relay...and MSD's pill thing...what a scam! The Mallory is currently my window switch of choice, but this one looks promising.

Does the one with the first gear lockout work with a manual tranny as well?
