So it looks like in the future I'll be sraying a NX 100 shot on my stock 30k short block with the upgrades I have in my sig. I'll be using all the safety features as everyone recommends. I'll alo have a 685 ignition box to help things out. I have some questions though. Is it correct that the nitrous shouldn't come on untill 3k at the lowest rpm for saftey reasons? I have a Vig. 2800 that I will be flashing of the line with my newly purchased Bogart wheels, skinnies up front with 275 50 15s MT street radials on a 10'' wheel for the back. How is the nitrous going to effect the 2800 flash, if at all with a 3k start point for the juice? Seeing as I still have a stock trans, besides the shift kit, and trans cooler, I don't what to spray through the shifts. My first to second shift is set up at 6400rpm. the second to third is 6300rpm. So at what rpm would it be best to set the window so I'm not spraying through the shifts? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Rick
I am running a 3200 stall in my 94...it flashes to ~3500 NA and ~3800 on a 150 shot. This is with a 3000rpm activation point. Since your activation point is above the stall speed it may not affect yours as much as mine.
If you are not wanting to spray throught the shift you will want to set the off point to 62-6300. I would set it to 6200 as the 2-3 shift is harder on the tranny than the 1-2
