My buddies GTP (A4) has been running a 100 shot wet NOS system without a window switch for 1.5 yrs. However, he has gone through 4 race trannys. His car shifts fine, does not hit the limiter but tears trannys apart. Get it when you have a chance, its worth the $80.

I launch off the bottle using my 3,600 stall as a window switch for down low. I have not hit the rev limiter yet on the top end. I have my shift light set about 300 rpm's early, because when on the dope they come up pretty quick.

I never ran a window switch and i do spray through the shifts. NEVER hit the rev limiter, stock trans lasted about 4 months doing that. Had the trans rebuilt by 12SCNDZ and it is holding up great. Still spraying through the shifts with about 50-60 nitrous runs and countless n/a runs.
I am swapping to a TransBraked 700r4 this winter and i still wont plan on running a window switch.

The rev limiter is there for a reason.....stuff happens engine over revs...limiter prevents damage to engine. Not a good thing when nitous is involved....thats where the window switch saves your tail. Its cheap insurance.
