Post Anyone with a nx remote bottle opener inside plesase. Need help

I've been having problems with my nx bottle opener not opening the bottle. Every 4-5 days when I try to open the bottle the valve sticks closed. I have to go take apart the bottle opener and turn the valve to open it. then I put the bottle opener back on and it works fine for the next few days. I've been doing this all summer and it is becoming a real pain in my a$$.I'm going to be real pissed if I pull up to a zo6 and the bottle doesn't open. How do I fix this problem. The bottle is also an nx bottle. Anyone else experiencing the same thing?

You need to adjust the clutch that's in the bottle opener. There were directions included with mine on how to do it. I've had to do it several times on mine.

Mine would work fine when it was cool out, but during the summer when it got hot, it did the same thing yours does. Works fine now that it's adjusted.

The best way to adjust it is by hand....What I mean by this is wait till it sticks then get the bottle in a position where you can leave everything hooked up and still get to the top of the opener. Remove the screws from the top of the opener and take motor and clutch assembly off leaving the billet pieces on the bottle. Now take the clutch out and tighten it a bit (just hold the nut and tighten the screw) then put the clutch on the billet piece on the valve and work it by hand....tighten more if needed till it opens the bottle. It was pretty darn tight when mine was set right.
