I've looked around online and can't really find anywhere I can get a fuel pressure safety switch. I found one on summits website, but it doesn't specify any certain application. I don't have any idea how they, connect, or whatever, if it's to the fuel rail or the nitrous system itself. I'm running an NX wet ket. Any suggestions where I can find one?

 

They are a very generic switch, manufactured by "Hobbs". NOS sells them, and you can get them for Summit. Just be sure you get the high pressure (50psi) switch for fuel injected setups, and not the low pressure switch for carb applications.

The switch attaches to the fuel system at the same point as the fuel supply to the nitrous solenoids. You can connect to the Schrader valve, and use a "tee" so you can connect both the FPSS and the line to the solenoids. Or, you can get an inline "gauge block" and add it to the line for the fuel to the solenoids. The swithc will have 1/8" NPT threads, same as a pressure gauge.

You wire the FPSS to interupt either the power supply or the ground to the nitrous solenoids, so that if the switch "opens" the nitrous shuts down.

What size sitting would I use for my NX wet kit? 4AN or 6AN?
