where to aim nozzle in an LS1?

installing a buddy's nitrous system today. drilling/pluming for the nozzle on the left side of the air lid. which direction should i aim the nozzle (toward the maf/engine side or toward the front of the car so it disperses better first?

this is a dry kit right?

if its wet it needs to go behind the MAF

i like the clear lid setup with nitrous. looks cool on the dyno. he had a dry kit by the way. we ended up putting it on the very left side, further away from the maf than where you put it up there. he wanted to aim it toward the very front center instead of toward the back of the car so it didnt just spray right toward the back of the lid before going around and through the maf (if that makes sense). i ended up just doing it how he wanted. i think if i had an LS1 with the lid setup i'd do it exactly how you (HaLLaSS) did it.
