i was just wondering what is all needed to run a 100 shot on stock bottom end?? i was thinking of running full bolt-ons and a a4 w/2600 conveter with a performance rebuild, am i going to runs into rear end problems?? how long will the engine last if i run it on the regular?? what fuel system upgrades will i need?? and a guestamate of what it would run would be awesome. thanx for all the help guys

Most Lt1s can run a 100 hp shot safely on the stock pump.Hook up a fuel pressure guage and see if you get a pressure drop. An aftermarket ignition with rev limiter is highly recommended. colder plugs. Fuel pressure safety switch, and rpm window switch are also a good idea. A monitoring system, such as the LT1 scanmaster are also very handy.
Otherwise hook it up and go! Your engine will be fine.
