what should my fuel pressure be at?

what should my fuel pressure be at?

i have a stock motor with some basic boltons. I have the TNT 100 shot wet kit with all the safety goodies. what fuel pressure should i be at and what is the best setting for my fpss to be at. thanks

mines hangs around at 60 ish.....

on an LT1 you should expect between 43-45psi at idle.

ok cool, so i am looking for 45psi. now, what setting would be best to have on my fpss and what would be the best way to check and make sure everything is in order. thanks for the replies

u do have a fuel pressure gauge right.....

yeah i have one in the pillar, but i just wanted to make sure everything was as good as it could get, i think it may be difficult to watch the fuel pressure guage while watching the tach and everything else

I've heard/read that 3-5psi below the WOT fuel psi is the 'safest', but could also disable the N2O with the slightest fluctuation.

at WOT its like 42

That's right. The 43-45 PSI is the WOT reading. You can check what the WOT is if you pull the vacuum line off you fuel pressure regulator, but you probibly knew that.

my idle is 41 my wot is 43 !! WTF ?

damnit .. now i need a new regulator... or maybe my vaccum line has a crack in it !? hmmmm
