What can I safely spray with a wetkit .
yes if the pump stops flowing the nitrous wont, but i have yet to see a pump quit 100% in a fuel injected setup.
i always upgrade the pump and after dealing with nitrous for 10-11 years,i know when the car is detonating or leaning out too much.
if you feel better playing with a 100shot and all the safety stuff,by all means stick with it.
dont knock those of us who have done it and know what we can do within OUR ability.

not knocking, just saying its not for most. i would still use saftey even though im upgrading the pump. i have 14k into the motor and am not willing to lose that. better safe than sorry. any pump at anytime can go out, man is flawed.
i know it isnt for most. thats why i always recommend people to use all the safety stuff they can.
i personally dont like fpss's,never had good luck with them,so dont use them. I am prepared to deal with what happens if something goes wrong, thats why i sprayed 175 on stock parts, and plan on going 300+ on the next combo.
man is flawed? yup sure is,but still hasnt changed the fact i never lost an engine or a fuel pump in 11 years of nitrous use.

huh?
define safe.... there are "safer" hp increases...but to be totally safe........no juice...
with that being said...the advice i give most people on a stock motor...with higher milage..is a 75 shot.... with all the "safety" addons...
but thats just me...i spray a 175 on my stock motor....and yes i utilize all the "safety" bells and whistles....
knock on wood...
good luck

all i can say is better safe than sorry. for racin, its good you havent blown a motor or lost a pump. but there will be a flaw one day somewhere. when i said man is flawed, i wasnt really pointing at you, i was refering to the one who built your pump, or your solenoids, or any other component that plays a role. when one of these devices fails, it doesnt matter how good your thumb is. better safe than sorry. another reason i like dual solenoid setup.
i understand where you are coming from,BUT.........why leave power on the table? push the limits of your ability.
what's to say the guys that built the engine didnt forget to tighten a bolt or 2,human error is always a possibility.
I have plenty of faith in new electronics, and the fact that i am prepared to deal with whatever happens when something breaks.
I would of run a 200 shot or more if my output shaft didnt snap in the trans. O well, make power, break the weak stuff, replace it with stronger/better.
My next setup will be fun,TNT dry direct port,300 shot (or more) on a 355 with afr 220's. Thats gonna take some tuning, but should run wild.
