Wet plate vs. wet fogger

I have had the Nitrous Works wet plate kit on my car for about 7 years now, and it works great. I was wondering though, has anybody swapped out the TNW plate for a fogger with the same size shot and see better results?

Just curious, and trying to get the most out of my car.

Re: Wet plate vs. wet fogger

i think there are a few ppl on this board who have made the swap and reported gains of a few tenths using the fogger over the plate.

btw. i am (or will be in the spring) using TNW wet kit. Glad to see that it has given you trouble free service so far! Do you have n/a times vs spray times to share?

mike.

Re: Wet plate vs. wet fogger

My times will be a little misleading, but I'll explain...

My best n/a time this year is 12.8X @ 108 with bolt-ons only and 16" Nittos. Ever since the day I ran those times, I haven't been able to come close again, and run anywhere between 13.3X - 13.4X @ 102-103. I'm still trying to figure out why I'm down a half second and 5 mph.

I didn't spray my car at the track this year until after it started running slower, but my best time on a 175 shot is 11.8X @115. I feel those times are pretty slow for such a big shot, but I think they are also being affected by whatever is causing me to run slower n/a. I think if my car was running optimally, I could have pulled off time around 11.5X or so.

During one race on the street, I passed the 1/4 mark at around 120 mph on the juice. That was shortly after the trip to the track where I was running fast n/a.
