Varible Ramp Progressive controller.

Hey Guys I nestalled the new 206.00 Nitrous controller on my 99SS. I had the Maximizer on the 94.00.There is no dought that the Maximizer is the best unit on the market However no everyone wants all those features. My 99 is just a fun little street car so I put the new unit on it. This thing is awesome. You can progress the system by time base or RPM. It has a built in TPS, dual Window switch, and gear lock out option.

Here is a link so that you can down load the program to play with it. Check it out.Its a nice quality part and very cost affective.

Dave,
I spoke with FJO a couple of days ago to get some answers for a couple of questions I had about the unit you sold me and this thing is great and will be even better near the end of the year. FJO has a wideband unit coming out that will be able to be used along with this that will alow you monitor A/F and be used to shut the nitrous down one the A/F gets to lean and unlike the hobs it will keep the nitrous off untill you reset.

I am glad you posted this Dave. I was just looking at progressive controllers for the system I am putting together. I like the idea of having the tps, rpm window control and progressive control all in one. The wideband add-on is the icing on the cake. This is sweet

How is the first gear lockout wired? Also what is the function of the trigger switch if you already have a main arming switch and WOT switch? Also.. the N20 wont start to spray until the WOT switch is active correct? Looking at the software there is a checkbox for a "prograssive solenoid driver connected". Doesn't the KW0022 have this built-in?

Re: Varible Ramp Progressive controller.

The first hgear lock out is set by reading the top RPM. Basically it picks up the RPM drop. When this happens it counts it as a gear change. The tPS can be not used if you want to use a manual switch. Yopu will click the box if you want to use the progressive feature.

What do you mean by manual switch? Look at the scramatic theres a WOT switch and a trigger switch. Whats the purpose of the trigger switch?

Re: Varible Ramp Progressive controller.

The trigger switch is if you have a transbrake. You wire that wire up to do the interruption so while you are on the Tbrake you can go to the floor and no nitrous will fire until you release the trigger switch.

Re: Varible Ramp Progressive controller.

Since this controller has basically everything already built into it. What kind of ignition box would yall recommend getting since to pull timing for the nitrous? I dont need a big fancy one since this controller already has everything built in. Just mainly like a multi spark and timing retard.
