timing retard

I just upped my jets to 150. I have a digital 6. I have it set at 4.7 for the retard setting. Does this sound right ? Thanks for your suggestions. Nick.

Re: timing retard

2 deg retard for every every 50 hp you spray is the general norm. So spraying 150 would put it around 6. Play with it around 6-8 and see where it runs the best.

Re: timing retard

I ran 3.5 degrees retard on a 150 with no problems. 1.5 degrees for every 50 shot you would want to pull more with a 150+ shot though
