Tapping the TB

I saw holley has an LT1 TB that was tapped for gas, If I bought a used LS1 TNT kit off the board could I essiantly take the nozzles off the ring and tap them in to my stock TB?

You can definately make the kit work.

I think you would be better off tapping the nozzles into the intake elbow. I think it is possible to tap them in the TB but you have to be very careful that they won't interfere with the blades opening and closing. I don't see any benifit to putting them in the TB over the intake elbow.

Also, make sure you check the jetting. I don't think the LS1 jets are the same as the LT1 jets (because they run at different fuel pressures). I don't have the card with me from my old TNT kit so I don't know for sure.

Neil, If you dont want to tap the TB or air box/boot, I've got a Compucar plate with 100, and 150 pills you can use.
