stock clutch + street tires + 100 shot

I know that I will eventually need to get a performance clutch, but will my stock clutch last for any length of time given these parameters?

-street tires (275/40/17 falken rt-615's)
-100 shot
-no spraying out of the hole, engaging nitrous in 2nd or 3rd onwards only
-no powershifting (spray is off during the shifts)

How many miles are on your clutch? If your clutch is still in good shape I say you'd be fine for the time being but definitely invest into a stronger clutch.

I bent my SLP clutch disk and it started slipping with just street tires and the mods in sig, I would definatly get a new clutch. And the higher gear shifts are harder on the clutch than the 1-2 shift...

When I bought the car 10k miles ago, the previous owner said he "just changed the clutch". Who knows if he actually did or not. I have never had my stock clutch slip so far, but then again, im not making any real power.

What is a good "bang for the buck set up"? I hear of some ppl using the LT4 PP and a mcleod single disc or a spec disc...

I'm putting in a mcleod single disk with my SLP PP as I type this. My friend with a cammed LT1 on a 175+ shot on mickey Thompson drag radials has a mcleod disk and its holding fine. And he launches the **** out of it all the time and it hasn't given him any problems yet.

If you don't slip the clutch and get it hot then I think you'll be fine. My clutch(It's a RAM clutch, which doesn't work any better than the stock one) holds a 125 shot just fine when it's cold, but if I slip it at all when I launch it'll slip all the way down the track. I currently have a SPEC Stage 2 clutch disk that I'm going to put in soon(reusing the PP since they're all the same), so hopefully that'll allow me to launch a little harder.
