I see a Bosch 255, or equivelent in my future
Theres no need for a super crazy fuel system.
With just a 255 pump, there are alot of forced induction guys beyond the 600 hp mark.
And I believe Rich is using a 255, with a simple in line boost pump to keep the pressure up on his 700+RWHP set up. Stock rails I think too?
You dont need a entire fuel system (Like the Aeromotive tank, pump, braided lines, etc...) And actually the stock rails are better than most people think they are too. They also will support over 600HP. Its a little better if they are made into two seperate fails so that its not one loop, but regardless, you dont need to go crazy with the fuel system stuff.
And yes, when your fuel pump dies if your on the bottle, it leans it out. The N20 is still sprayed into the motor, the fuel isnt. It leans out, runs VERY hot, and detonates like crazy. It could get ugly(For your wallet)

Re: So who Blew their Motor up on N20!
Hey iam pretty new to this, i just bought a 94 Z28 A4 Black with only 64,000 miles on it, its completely stock, everything, nothing has been touched.. i was wondering what kinda of a mess i would be getting into if i ran like a 75-100 shot? What kind of parts should i put in it before so? Thanks.
Re: So who Blew their Motor up on N20!
Hay sandman63 since you just got the car I would wait a while before you do anything. Learn everything about your car on how to maintain it first. Wow 64,xxx on a 94 is nice low mile car you got there. Also since your new at this, use the search feature on the top and you can find many of those answers that your looking for faster.
Re: So who Blew their Motor up on N20!
I got 64K on my 94 LT1. I would go exhaust, headers, and an intake to help the motor breathe the nitrous.
Also, don't forget the support features like a fuel pressure safety switch, window switch, and a wide open throttle switch. After that, go with a bottle heater, fuel pump, etc.
Don't skimp out now because it is cheaper to pay for the safety features now, then buying engine parts later.

Re: So who Blew their Motor up on N20!
I have 16,742 origional miles on here and counting.
It was a 95', totaled in 96, with barely 11,000 on it.
I bought it totaled and rebuilt her in 11th/going into/12th grade. ( It was bad, I got a truck load of parts since the engine/tranny had to be pulled out to replace the front bolt on frame rail, and since I didnt tear it down, it was a nightmare to put together by myself lol Gotta love GM engineering.) So in the past year and a half I put like 5000 miles on it.
PA weather sucks for these kind of cars though. It sits in the garage all winter so it doesnt rot out from the salt and everything. I need florida.

Re: So who Blew their Motor up on N20!
Hey thanks for your input on my question, johny3986 you say exhaust an headers? any manufactors you recomend, since i just bought the car no longer than a week ago, iam pretty tight on the money.. I was thinking of a pair of long tube headers to an off road cat, an a GMMG cat back. Any thoughts or concerns, please hit me back, thanks!
Re: So who Blew their Motor up on N20!
I went with Pacesetter LT's (ceramic coated) with an off road (no cats) Y-pipe and then to a SLP Loudmouth. It's borderline ridiculous, but oh so beautiful at the same time. Not like dumps, but extremely pleasing.
Oh yeah, and the siren for the fire calls adds a nice touch too!!
