Safe shot?

Hey guys ive got a 94 Z28 with 192,000 on it all stock motor and fuel system. Im running a 75 wet shot right now and love it but id like to go a little more. I've been told that i could go to a 125 shot with out problem but not sure on it. By the way compression is pretty good still for the miles on the car around 120 lbs across the board. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Safe shot?

Alot of people run a 100-125 shot religously. I would consider doing the following: running 1 step colder plugs, replacing your fuel pump with a high-volume one like the Walbro or Racetronix units, a window switch, a fuel-pressure safety switch, and pull some timing. The Mallory 685 ignition box is nice because it contains both the window switch and timing retard as built in features.

100-150 would be good anymore than that you will start running into problems on a stock motor
