Regurgitation of a bunch of old truisms. OK I guess but he sounds like an Internet instant expert, not someone who has "been there, done that."

I like this one:
Nitrous also works best with motors that are stock or mildly modified. Those with more modified motors will not see as great an increase in power as non-modified ones. Nitrous works the same in different size motors, depending on kit size.

Glenn is a truly nice guy and is in the middle of the 10 second club with his Fanta-Z. Without a doubt there are people here that know more than him but he would be the first person to acknowledge that. I'm not trying to do anything here other than give a little more insight into that post and the person who created it.

Re: all about nitous

Overall it was an accurate post but there were a couple of small things wrong nothing major a couple have been stated already. The two that jumped out at me were about timing while the 1.5-2 degrees per 50hp was spot on. Saying that an engine needs to be on the brink of detonation to make the most power is incorrect. The other is that he says there is no limit to how much nitrous you can physicaly get in to an engine. This is not true there is a limited amount of nitrous that can be put into any engine. That amount will vary depending on engine size and horsepower level but at some point there just isn't any more room in the engine for more nitrous. As I said over all it was an accurate post and had a lot of good solid nitrous info and guidelines.

Re: all about nitous

before you guys go jumping on Fanta-Z about innaccuracies, read the bottom of the post. He didn't write it.

I don't think anyone even mentioned the author or related their comments to Fanta-Z... the comments were strictly about the content.

You're right Fred and good eye by Mean Green. Someone will give Fanta-Z a heads up so he can take another look at that quote and maybe do some editing. Thanks!

"Jumping on" is a bit of exaggeration, IMHO. Anyway, I don't think anyone said word one about the author, just the accuracy of the information.
