Safe to install with full bottle?

Is it safe to install a nitrous kit with a full bottle? Or should I wait until I have it installed to fill it?

Well it won't give you much power if it's empty.
Just make sure you install the blowdown tube fitting on the back of the bottle before you fill it.

It won't hurt anything, it may even come in handy when you are doing some of the plumbing. It says clearly in the instructions that before you hook up the main nitrous line to the solenoid, it is a good idea to crack open the valve a bit and blow out anything that may be sitting in the lines to prevent that debris from jamming up the nitrous solenoid. Also, when you do have everything hooked up completely, once again, you can open the bottle and check the entire car for any nitrous leaks.

I agree it is probably easier to have a full bottle or at least some in there during the install. When I did my first install I got some carpet fibers in the line when fishing it to the front of the car under the carpet, and had to get a shot of nitrogen from my neighbor, an HVAC repair guy, to get it out before hooking everything up...
