ring gap?
ring gap?
I am assembling my lt1 (355) for my 95 z28. I am going to run the NOS sportsman fogger direct port kit (100-300hp) on it. I am setting up a dedicated fuel system to run at carb pressures. I have a set of speed pro, forged pistons (.030 over) and their moly coated ductile iron top ring. The car is a daily driver and it will see mild street/track N2O use (probably very rarely on the street and I don't go to the track too often). What do I need to set my ring gap at. The rings are file to fit.
Thanks a ton

I want to be able to spray a 200 - 250 shot and I don't like the idea of spraying it through the manifold. I had a TNT wet kit (very nice BTW) on my LS1 car (that I sold) and every time I sprayed it, I was worried that I was about to send the intake through the hood. I probably shouldn't worry so much. Anyway, the motor is apart right now and drilling and tapping the intake manifold is no problem and the sportsman fogger kit costs about the same that my TNT wet kit did (~$650). The fuel system will cost more but not too much more than the upgrades my stock fuel system would need to run a wet kit anyway.
