Re: Recommendations for First Kit for Stock LT1?

i have a kit for sale. has everything that you would need
i'm selling my nitrous express wet kit plus extras. this has been used on a 2001 camaro v6 3.8 for about 5 months, and only used 2 bottles of nitrous so here is what it includes. a nitrous express kit with a 10 lb bottle, includes jets 35-50-75-100-150,bottle heater with a Thermostatically Controlled, bottle blanket, window switch, and a nitrous bottle gauge. total for me was about $920. i will sell it for 500 obo. and if you live near me and come to pick it up i will include a full bottle of nitrous. if you click on my car domain site at the bottom there are pictures of the kit in there. if intersted email me at daubert19xxx@yahoo.com

The ZEX box will flow more than the jets they provide for it. If you have ever opened up the ZEX NMU you will see the size of the solenoid is hugh. The ZEX solenoid has an orfice large enough to flow over 200 HP worth of nitrous

I am very interested in this kit. Please PM me with additional details. Also why are you getting rid of it?

NX Single Fogger. Cheap, great solenoids and performance is good too. My old bolt-on Formula picked up 13-14mph on a 100 shot. Throw some TR6s gapped at .035-.038 and spray away.

Hey,
Those who use the Zex dry kit.... Do you retard timing while spraying.

Thanks,

Tim

I'd have to check the files I was using to see where I had it set, but I did pull timing when I went over a 100 shot. I dont remember if I had any pulled at 100, it was so long ago, but I pulled a few degrees as I went up, then played with it until it really felt like it was haulin a$$. No knock, good mph, so guess that was were it needed to be

You were actually running a bit of advanced timing at 100 hp
