Realistic dyno numbers

What could I REALISTICALLY expect to down at the wheels on a 1994 Trans Am, low miles, built tranny, smaller 2800 stall, 150 NX shot, Jet het LT's, full 3 inch mandrel exhaust, Moroso intake, stock rims/tires, stock rear end. This is assuming it is tuned properly.

Re: Realistic dyno numbers

I think you might be closer to 300 RWHP.
I put down 278 with just a tune, MAC catback and a CAI.

I am building a 383 heads and cam that should put out about 400 RWHP and I have a direct port fogger setup that I am setting up for a 250 shot.
Lets see.....400 RWHP plus 250 shot of N2O......650 RWHP.
I am going to die.......

Hope that bottom end is ready for a 250 shot.

Before I built the motor in my old almost LT1 I decided to try to grenade that thing. I threw 200hp at that thing all weekend. It never exploded!!! It sure felt good though. LOL

Re: Realistic dyno numbers

Yes, fully forged.
Its going to take me awhile but I am hopeing to have it done for next season.
I,m never going to sell the car so I decided to make a dyno queen out of it.
I hope to end up with a high 11 second car NA and 10.50s or so on the juice.
Gonna need a cage, and a rear end once I blow up the stock one.
I,m gonna be so poor.

Re: Realistic dyno numbers

NX kits are rated at the tire unlike many other companies. So I would expect your horsepower dam close to 440 (trans, stall eating some up) and 460 tq. A cutout on those lt's would help too.
