Post Ran N2O for the first time yesterday

Well like the subject said. I can't believe i went so long without the good ol "juice". I went and ran at Carlsbad Raceway in Southern CA yesterday and drop my time from a 12.6@110 to an 11.19@124. Talk about the ultimate rush. I ended up gettin kicked off the track for the lack of a Cage. But that was more or less my goal yesterday and it happened so i was really happy.

HAHAHAHAHAH! That's almost a 10 second car you have there, man!! Must be a hell of a sleeper on the streets with just a hotcam and exhaust! Congrats

i was runnin a 150 shot on a duel fogger TNT setup. Orignally a plate system but the plate didn't allow the N2O to atomize quick enough so i moved them in front of the TB about 3 inches from the TB. I tested the spray pattern of the nozzles and they spray more of a mist then a shotgun effect. So the typical setup like NOS or NX is about 6 inches in front of the TB to prevent it from only hitting the back 4 cylinders. With this setup i think i was pretty much hittin every cylinder pretty evenly. But like i said... i just can't live without it now. I'm Glad i didn't have my other jets with me cause i prolly would have thrown in the 200 shot just to see if i could hit a 10. But being a stock bottom end, i'm glad i didn't have them to take that chance.

Jason,

Those are some great times. I have a similar set up and I'm wanting to at a 100 shot and get high 11's.
Did you change your Program any to run the NOS?

Thanks
Tom

no program change at all. The PCM is programmed for everything else I have but not the N2O.

u better start pulling timing or save up for a rebuild cause if ur spraying a TNT 150 ur more orless a jet like 175-180shot, cause tnt rates them at what they make takes like a 175 shot to make 150hp none the less great times
