On the quest for 10s tonight
Well, tonight is my last trip to the track for quite a while with this setup. The air isnt great around here anymore, but its going to be fairly cool. Last time in pretty much the same conditions except a bit warmer, I ran 11.13@123 spinning the QTP's (1.69). Car just wasnt lined out right then. I couldnt get heat in the tires and in the bottle. Pressure was around 650. A bottle warmer and a line lock have solved those problems this time. Wish me luck!

Track prep was HORRIBLE! I dont go to this track much for this very reason. My first MOTOR pass I spun the 28in QTPs to a 2.0 60ft.
I almost didnt even put the bottle in it. The track started coming around for everyone else so I made another motor pass. Dead hooked a 1.80 so I slapped the bottle in and turned the heater on. What luck! The heater didnt work now. I had about 850 psi in the bottle tho. I made a pass with the 1st stage a 75 shot. It hooked spraying out of the hole, 1.70 sixy and a 12.0@115. I sprayed the 2nd stage next, a 100 shot a bit after the launch, 1.70 sixy and a 11.9@117. I did a john force burnout next, and tried both stages out of the hole. SPUN to a 1.63 and ran a 11.2@120. The weather about that time was cool but humid. I made another 11.2@120 pass and loaded it up. My 60fts are better than last time due to being able to get some heat on the tires. Now I gotta figgure out why Im loosing 3mph. I ran a 13.0@102 on the motor the 2nd time.
Car is so set up for nitrous timing wise now its killing me on motor times. Ive got a retard box waiting to be put on so I can bump the timing back up for motor passes. Ive got more ignition probs to solve first. I belive the wires are breaking down. And since Jacobs Electronics are being jerks about warrantying my wires, Ill just have to buy another set of wires. The list goes on and on.
Oh, I found out my 28x11.5 QTPs rub my stock control arms. I had some Hochkis arms on it, but sold them getting ready for my MadMan arms. Luckily it was just on the turnaround.
