it could be the switch, could be a ground, bad power source, purge solenoid coulda died.

Way too many options, start with the simple, switch and make sure it has power, then see what happens.

It's not the end of the world, just a purge solenoid,no reason to go flipping out. Just relax, replace the switch and go from there.

First, calm down, get a sleep..etc.
Then check your ground. Where have you grounded it?
I had it grounded under the PCM bolts first, but it gave me problems, so I relocated it to the negative battery pole. No problems so far!
Good luck,

Dont know which kit you got...but on my zex kit, my purge kit has its own power and ground to the solonoid. So, you should have a power and ground wire for the purge solonoid....At least, thats how i wired mine. My window switch does not have anything to do with my purge. I can purge nitrous without my nitrous being on cause my purge 12v is aways hot, not switched. Idea, maybe your purge is wired into your nitrous arming 12v so that would mean the window switch is not letting it get power unless your in your window of operation. If thats the case, just get you 12v for the purge from the battery. Doesnt drain anything if its wired right.

Maybe..try setting your window switch "on" setting to like 600rpm...then turn on your nitrous(if you have to for your purge) and see if it purges. If so, the above mentioned is your problem.

get in there and chase the wires out,see how it is was wired, and see if you can get it working. Like N20 said,it might be wired through the window switch.

Much more enjoyment knowing you fixed it yourself and didnt have to rely on a shop to get it right,IMHO.

Yeah....just trace the wires and fix it yourself. Obviously, the shop doesn't know what their doing anyhow. I put a writeup of how to wire up a harlan window switch to my zex kit a while ago. Search for it, maybe itll help if they wired it in using a relay(they should have).

edit...heres the link for ya in case it helps. http://web.camaross.com/forums/showt...hreadid=134020
