Purge valve question inside...
When you set up a purge valve on your NOS system, does it have to be set up to purge out your hood and over the car or can it be set up to purge out somewhere else, say to where someone can't see that your purging NOS? Thanks.

Majority of the crowed just purge behind the hood in front of the windshield. It's the easy way of just hooking up lines to exit out the engine bay. But if your creative you can mount the lines anywhere and be sneaky about it

you can put it anywhere ya want as long as it purges out of the engine compartment. Someone on here, maybe Fred, had his purging in the front wheel well, towards the ground. Purge while doing your burnout and nobody will notice it. I dont know if you've ever heard one purge, but its pretty loud, thats why u do it during the burnout, just be careful. I've got mine in the cowl area, one in front of each wiper arm. They go through the mesh screen in the cowl, painted em black and u cant see em till I hit the purge button, looks pretty cool
Yes... I have the purge solenoid right behind the drivers side headlight, and the tube runs out to a point inside the front of the fender, not the wheel well. I didn't do it to be hidden.... I just didn't want it to purge in the open.
How about running a T and having one line purge onto the intake/throttle body, for extra cooling before your run?
In all seriousness, is there any "danger" to purging inside the engine bay area?
