pros/cons NO plate/NX-maf/tnt plate
pros/cons NO plate/NX-maf/tnt plate
what are some of the pros and cons as well, for nitrous outlet throttle body plate/NX -maf system/tnt plate. for Lt1 motor? far as performance, maintance, installation, price, user friendly, and other items that are needed. any feedback would be great, new to nitrous but am putting on motor. thanx
Re: pros/cons NO plate/NX-maf/tnt plate
My personal opinion is this. The NX maff kit gives a nice clean install and comes with the TPS sensor.
Our plate gives a nice clean install and will distribute the nitrous far better than placeing two nozzles that are spraying to the back of the intake that close to the front to runners.
Idf I can help wih any questions please let me know.
Thanks
Dave

What bad things have you heard about the TNT kit other than it sprays too close to the front runners, which I've never had a problem with and dont actually know anyone that has.

We tune many cars and many different systems. I also talk to alot of indaviduals on tech calls. I have seen problems with placing the nozzles behind the throttle body. The reason why is that the nozzles are aimed to the back of the intake. In these circumstances not all the runners were seeing the correct mixture.
This is one example of what inspired our desighn with multiple nitrous and fuel ports aimed across the intake throat instead of at the back of the intake. Our plate will do a much better job with attomization to all cylinders.
I have talk to a good amount of people using the the system with nozzle behind the throttle body with no problems. So I am not saying it will not work. However I have helped many people that were zaping plugs or had burnt pistons with poor distribution problems because of placing the nozzles so close to the front runners.
