Where do I mount this??

I want to mount a mechanical pressure gauge on my bottle. I know I can do that on the valve.

I also have a sending unit for a an electrical one. Should I get one of those adapters to run it inline (straight off the bottle) with my -4AN line?

Or should I put it on the other side of my bottle valve since it has two fittings for valves? Won't that be a PITA when I go to remove my bottle or get it filled due to the twisting of the wires? Thanks for the help!!

Johnny

I got a 2 foot line and remote mounted everything over on the fender using one of the NX manifolds. If you mount it on the bottle, it's a PITA if you decide to get a remote bottle opener later as well.

The bottle is in the spare tire well, and the gauge is up on the inner fender well just in front of it. Here's a picture...http://members.aol.com/blownf1/P10100004.jpg

I'm not planning on a remote bottle opener since it will be mounted within reaching distance. It is going to be mounted between the seats in the rear.

Knowing that, should I mount it on the valve, or in line??

I would probably still remote mount it down on the center hump or something. I wouldn't want to haul it to the refill place with all the other stuff attached, it'd either get broken or confuse them. If your primary concern is the wiring, just connectorize it. My bottle opener and heater are connectorized. I just pull them apart, and unscrew the single hose and pull the bottle. You can always try it one way and if you find it's a hassle, change it... I tend to be lazy and want it to be as easy as possible...
