Propane and N20 Injection?

There is a Viper around here that runs Propane and Nitrous. I think he is spraying like a 175 shot or so...what would be the purpose for the Propane? Thanks

BTR Performance is making nitrous/propane injection kits for the Viper and Corvette:

BTR Performance

They make several kits for the Viper... they use the propane as the supplemental fuel for nitrous up to the 175-shot level. For larger shots, they use gasoline and nitrous for the supplemental fuel. As a fuel, propane has the advantage of being stored as a liquid, injected as a liquid, and flashing to a vapor, absorbing heat from the incoming air stream..... just like the nitrous component.

They are now making a 150HP nitrous/propane kit for the C5.

I've seen one of the Viper kits installed and dyno tested at Second Street Speed.

propane in theory would have much better distribusion in the intake manifold, because it is a gas not a liquid
