Re: Is this plate homemade?

Thats my car in the pic. I can send you more pics of the nitrous system on and off the car if you need them. Cardomain address is in the sig. For what it's worth, I was going to remove the plate and put both the nozzles in the elbow and use an additional pair of solenoids for a 2 stage system. I sold the kit to groundpoundintLT to make way for the T-trim.

BTW where did you get that triple guage pod and where are you planning on mounting it, I might want to try something like that. I also noticed you and I have the same photography skills, (toes in the picture) LOL.

If it were me I would not run that plate.Instead I would put there nozzles in the elbow before the throttle body. This way it has time to mix into the air stream before hitting the two front runners. Just my personal opinion. The quality of the system is nice.I just do not like the idea of placing the nozzles behind the throttle body due to helping many customers experiencing poor distribution problems from doing so.

Sent the pics to ya. I do remember when I tore the engine down to rebuild it for boost, some of the pistons and combustion chambers looked like they had been leaner than others, I dont remember which ones though. On the plus side though, that system hit hard. It seemed to come on harder than the two nitrous systems I had before it, it was a lot of fun.

I also wanted to add that it may have been my fuel pump that caused the lean problem, it was going out for a while and finally quit completely which was when I started the boost build up. So I was running the nitrous with a weak fuel pump for about 2 months. I used it alot (like a passing gear).

This plate can flow 400 hp.However I do not like the idea of spaying any more that 250 through. The kit will come with jets up to 200hp.
Pricing is still undetermained.

Re: Is this plate homemade?

Hey Dave could the distribution problem associated with the plates with 90 deg nozzles be fixed by switching to a straight shot nozzle like the E3 Titanium from edelbrock?
