Re: Is this plate homemade?

That is a TNT plate.Becareful I have helped many customers using this plate with distribution problems. This plate places the nozzles to close to the two front runners.THe nozzles are aimed to the back of the intake creating distribution problems between cylinders.

Re: Is this plate homemade?

would re-aiming the nosszles in a cross-flow pattern help at all? Couldn't that be done with a washer or something, similar to indexing spark plugs?

Aiming the one on the driver's side toward the passenger side runners, would help with distribution issues, I would think.

Well who makes a plate that I can run my nitrous on..Are the plates with the spray bar in the middles good? Im running (2) Fuel and (2) N20 lines so the plate has to have hook up for 4 lines or a spot for the nozzles to screw in.

I do not know of a plate on the market that will do what you are asking. You must be running a dual stage. If so how much are you spraying?

Re: Is this plate homemade?

300 shot. Im going to run the Edge Progressive Controller from Harris Speedworks to run the nitrous. Just didn't want to run (2) Shark Nozzles into the stock intake elbow. I wanted a cleaner look thats why Im looking for a plate system like that. My nitrous setup is exactly like the pic I posted in the link above with the T Valves coming off the solenoids running double lines on each solenoid.

Re: Is this plate homemade?

What if you went with a plate for one stage and a shark nozzle in the elbow for the other?

So is it a single stage with two nozzles or a dual stage?

Dave, what do you think about angling the nozzles in a cross-fire setup?

Do you think it would help with the distribution problems that the plates seem to have?

Re: Is this plate homemade?

It sounds like it's a single stage, dual nozzle, progressive system.

Dave- If it's set up like in the picture it only has two solenoids. For a dual stage wet it would need 4 solenoids.

Hmmm,
Not sure on that idea. The problem with a nozzle that close is that you have two large path of nitrous and fuel spraying directly out.Im not sure how the affect of doing that would work.Let me think about it.Im not to partial to the idea.

Sorry I had to go back and re read.Pluss I did not look at your picture the first time.
If you went to our plate you would get rid of one set of hoses. The plate can flow plenty.I personally do not like the idea of going past a 250 shot on a lt1 with out going to a directport.

Re: Is this plate homemade?

So how exactly would I set it up if I got that plate? Would I just hook up to the plate and still run a nozzle in the elbow or what?
