Pardon the ignorance, but why do I need a retard feature on a switch?
Pardon the ignorance, but why do I need a retard feature on a switch?
I've been doing a lot of research tonight because I am getting the NX kit install Friday. I've been looking into the RPM switch boxes and how to wire it up the the TACH and Computer. In this process I saw something about a retard feature on an ign box. Do I need this? Does this have anything to do with setting the spark plugs to two steps colder? Once again pardon the ignorance.
You should run a plug that has a heat range colder than stock. You have to swap the plugs. The timing control retards timing when on the spray. Nobody with ls1's run these, 93 ocatane and you should be fine. Monitoring your engine while spraying can't hurt though.
