nx kit used for 325

Is that a good price for a used kit? Also where can I get a window switch and a fuel pressure safety switch?

That is a really good price for a used kit. You can get the switches at most online performance shop, but I like www.tbyrnemotorsports.com Just my personal preference because I like tom. He actually surfs the boards, and listens to what we want.

Where is the least expensive place to buy the fuel pressure safety switch and the window switch... tbyrne is expensive, also I dont have a bottle heater, if the pressure gets below like 900psi does it just not hit as hardor can it be dangerous somehow?

Its an nx wet kit same as before I just found out it was used and im getting tr6 plugs. Only running a 75 shot so I dont need any timing retard. Im just wanting all the necissary safety equipement before I use it and thats all I need for it to work. Im not building it up for nitrous its just something to keep me entertained for the time being. Also do you know where I can get the fpss and window switch for less than 80 bucks a pop?

no ignition eh? is it really worth the couple of bills to get one, then to put your car on the line and chance something happening down the road? Not in my opinion, but if u can get away with it, more power to ya!

i always say, if u cant do it right, then dont do it at all

and if u get a harlan or mallory, then it can be under 80, but there NO way your can get a MSD with pills and a fpss for 80 unless u get it off the board or something...

Maybe its not been explained correctly to me then... I was told its not dangerous to use the stock ignition system as long as you dont spray too much like a 50 or 75 shot since there is no need to retard timing...

Is it safe to run a 75 shot with just plug upgrades to tr6's and a stockish exhaust?

To MSD, or not to MSD, that is the ?

lt4 fd........I am in no way a professional when it comes to N2O but I have ALWAYS been told that no matter how small or large of a N2O shot you are going with an aftermarket ignition system is pretty much required. Remember, it is not just fuel that you are putting in your engine now. N20 drasticly increases cylinder pressures and you want ALL of the right equipment before you spray !
Let me put it to you this way.......would you drive your car around with only 8-10 psi in each of the tires ? Sure it will keep the rim off of the road right ? But how long are they going to last before you roll one of those tires right off the rim ? Does that make any sense ? I mean, why even get the TR6's when the spark plugs you are using now will still ignite the gases. Same deal here with the ignition.
I know where you are coming from man, and trust me, get the required things now before its too late. Hindsight is 20/20 ! See, the thing is...I know for a fact that you wont be happy with just a 75 shot, you wont be able to "feel" it as much (if even half as much) as a 150 shot. And if the stock ignition would happen to keep up with a 75 shot, you will be very tempted to think "well I wonder if it will hold up to a 150 shot" and don't go there unless you want to do a complete engine rebuild in the very near future. And from the sounds of it, if you are trying to skimp out on an aftermarket ignition, you dont have the $$ for a complete rebuild.

Sorry for the long post, and if Im wrong on anything i am sure someone will correct me Oh and this is jusr my .03 cents worth.....

My friend told me to get an MSD window switch for the NX kit I am buying. I've heard bad things about MSD, but he said it's because people are connecting it wrong. Something about the solenoid and relay. Can't remember exactly what he said, but what do yall use. The MSD window switch according to him cost about 60 to 70 bucks. This sounds good compared to NX's window switch that supposedly cost 279! What a huge differenc. Can yall give me feedback please.

Magyver....I can't help you much on this topic, but you would probably get a better and more responses if you started a new thread on it. Try a topic heading of "Window Swithces."
