I own a 1995 camaro Z28 (LT1).
Mods:
Headers, vortech Elbow, K&N intake, Crane cam, adjustable torque arm, 2600 stall converter, and a Nitrous works 175 shot.
Times:
best time- 11.74 secs. 1/4m. 1.65 secs. 60ft.

The question: I want a 300 shot of nitrous. What would be the best engine setup? with no stroker!

 

You would definatly want to run a direct port system like the nos sportsman. I would say motor wise, some good forged pistons, ( I prefer Weisco) and maybee
some stainless valves, and some eagle rods. I have a really strong stroker motor in mine and its jetted for 300 and I blow the tires away in third from time to time with BGF G force.

 

what would be a good compression ratio for the pistons?
Would I need bigger injectors?
Programmable PCM?
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanx in advance.

 

As far as the injectors I wouldnt think you would need bigger. If you change the cam for something modderate + yes I would say you would need a programmer. I would get a programer anyway. It always help to have a good tune. Compression is stricktly up to you. Do you drive it everyday? Can you afford to run race gas all the time? You will have to run race gas when spraying anyway unless you run a stand alone fuel system for your nitrous.
I think if you go much past 10.5 : 1 your going to be very limited as to what fuel you can run.

In the meanwhile, i have a nitrous cam, 255 psi Venom fuel pump, and all the gauges I need for a safe shot. What else would I need that you guys could recommend to use for a 200 shot.
