NX 175HP= 10.23@132mph!

I brought the T/A out for some more passes at a different track than I usually run b/c it hooks better. Well I still couldn't leave on N2o from the hit but I left on motor and as soon as the car left I would spray and it ran hard. These are the passes.
1st pass N/A
1.64 60'
7.24 1/8th@96mph
11.400@118mph spun a little 18psi in slicks.
Dropped the pressure and loaded the bottle.
1.52 60' carried the front tire after it left.
6.59 1/8th@105mph
10.34@130.5mph 150hp n2o.
Changed to 175hp jets.
1.55 60' spun a little.
6.53 1/8th 106.4mph
10.23@132mph
last pass.
1.51 60 12psi in slicks.
6.51@106mph
10.24@131.7mph running low on n2o and bottle pressure.

I was really excited to run 10.20's@130+MPH with mediocre 1.5 60's on the stock 10bolt and 3.42's with the stock torque arm. I was crossing the line at 6700rpms with the 26" tires. The car is really running well and I don't know how the rear is still alive after today. I have an 8.8" hybrid ready to put in and a T-brake already in the tranny. I will probably need some taller tires to hook it though. I will order the 200HP NX pills and the 250HP so as soon as the car gets some traction I think 9 second ET's are in the bag. Boy I love Nitrous! Not bad for LT1 casting heads, LT1 intake and a stock stroke crank. Later Clint

Damn nice times!! What track did you go to? I'm new to Louisiana and want to start doing some test n' tunes someplace close to Lafayette before going to No Problem Raceway.
Thanks!

That is a f'ing great time. I can't wait until our track opens up. Are you still running the stock fuel pump?

Congrads on you times. Are you planning on droping the tire pressure a bit more. Have you tried to hit the nitrous as the trans brake is releasing?

I own a LT1 z28 and running 11.74 with a 175 shot of NOS. If its ok to ask, what engine setup do you have? by the way i am asking because that is a very impressive time.

Re: NX 175HP= 10.23@132mph!

Thanks guys my car is running strong now. The pills are 73N 41F for the 175HP. The rearend is stock 10bolt with GM 3.42's out of an M6 car I bought in the forsale section a couple years back. The track is Evadale Raceway in Texas (about 1hr. 45mins from Lafayette). I haven't ever used the transbrake yet b/c I am afraid of destroying the rear and maybe some other parts in the process like the tranny and engine too. I am going to install my new rear this week before I go back to the track and then I can try the T-brake. I have a NOS pump along with the stock intank pump. NXRicky I need the jets for 200Hp for next time out. Shoot me a PM so I can arrange payment. I may try 10psi on the slicks next time out. The engine is a 355" LT1 with forged steel crank, h-beams and Lunati pistons. The heads are max ported LT1 castings with big valves 2.08's and a CC306 bumpstick. The intake also match ported with a 58mm T.B. and a set of JetHot longtubes, X-pipe with 3" trueduals all the way to the bumper. If you guys have anymore questions go ahead. Later Clint

Thanks for the info on the track! Where do you live (city)? Do you trailer your car or drive it to the track? Let me know when you are going again and I'll try to join you. I'm looking to start test n' tuning and this track sounds good.
Thanks!
Mike
